Sardonic? I think so (or hope, anyways!).As a caomentmry on what we think of as the ‘beautiful life,’ it strikes a chord. She’s right, there is set of things that we as a culture have agreed are desirable beauty, money, fame, etc. And she does a really good job a capturing the sense of emptiness that we all feel living the material life. We’ve all asked the question – is this really it? The fact that she wraps her message in a catchy tune and a video filled with prancing beautiful people is all the more metaphoric. Like the world she describes, our surface is colourful, bubbly and pretty, while underneath lies the forever creeping fear that if this is really it, we’re in trouble. The Fear is the perfect title.

Kelly PIt seems you know nothing about the saseide called addiction. They are NOT that way because they want to be, they are that way because they are ILL and take drugs or drink to get a relief from their pain! That''s not much fun actually. Just look at Amy. Did she look like she was enjoying her lifestyle? No? That''s because she wasn''t. She was just a very troubled soul who couldn''t cope with life without drugs. I feel sorry for her.Rest in peace, Amy
