Will Smith a castigat premiul pentru cea mai buna performanta masculina pentru rolul sau din “I Am a Legend”, in timp ce Depp s-a impus in categorii precum “Best Comedic Performance” (din “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End”) sau “Best Villain” (in “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”).

Printre laureatii serii s-au mai aflat Ellen Page (“Juno”), Zac Efron, dar si productii precum “Iron Man” sau “Transformers”. Atmosfera a fost intretinuta de trupe precum Coldplay si Pussycat Dolls (care a interpretat noul single “When I Grow Up”).
